So, I have been watching Lost every week religiously and I really feel bad that the writers are getting some flack. I think they do not write for approval from fans. I think they really did have a story to tell and are telling it at their pace and eventually everything will make sense. It was important to get past the Jack, Sawyer, Kate thing with the Others, because the Others are the crux of the story. And everything is coming together nicely.
What I love is the fact that Hurley was told everyone on the plane was found dead...meaning a search and rescue team had found them. What does that mean about the island and the fact that they are supposedly alive? I always thought they were dead and that the children were taken because they were innocent and did not deserve to be in limbo. I think the reason why people who are on the island, cannot get pregnant is because dead people cannot carry life. And I think those who can have a baby if they were pregnant off the island can do so cause their baby is dead anyways. I think Jack's dad was seen as a ghost of sorts because he arrived on the island dead before he even got there and his soul was released. I think certain people die on the show because they fix some sort of dilemma in their lives that needed to be fixed in order to move on. I think Anna Lucia came to grips with what she did off the island. I believe that everyone who died...you can see where they did something that sort of got the monkey off their backs so to speak. Even that dude who blew himself up was never part of anything and got to help the group and be remembered in some way. It's the same thing with Charlie. He's done what he is supposed to do...it's time for him to die, but that dude won't let him.
But what about The Others? What's their role in this? Are they the God that sorts them out. And who are The Others in the states? What's their role. Notice how she drank that thing and passed out...she was poisoned. Killed. And now she can work on the island. It's why she wasn't allowed to leave. And Walt and his father were allowed to leave, but not really. They went through the gates of heaven together. He fixed his relaitonship with his son. It was time for him to go, but he got to go peacefully.
What do you think of that? They are definitely going one more season. I am excited, cause I know that things are really coming together now. Whoohoo. Now...if Jericho can just stay alive. I hear bad things. Their ratings slipped due to the whole sabatical they had and the show has gotten so awesome, but in a way where it looks like they are shooting their load. Scary. I think even Smallville will be back for one more year. And Supernatural too. Keeping my fingers crossed. Next season CBS debuts a zombie show. Can't wait. Later
