Yoooooooo!!!! It's the G-Pop Network back at you with no reruns through the summer and a slate of great new articles for the rest of the year.
First, we take you back in time to high school graduation and those we leave behind. I, Jon Minners, share my own thoughts and I sure you will feel all sentimental, too. Check out www.g-pop.net/Minners47_Graduation.htm
The Wrestling Wars are about to heat up again and the changes that are about to come are exciting indeed. Badseed hits you with another commentary as he make a countdown to a fresh new season of wrestling. Go to www.g-pop.net/badseed334_fresh.htm
Comics are a wonderful thing, but they can be annoying when you have 32 different Batman titles and they all cross into one another forcing you to buy every one on top of the comics you already enjoy. Talon Karrde is just as pissed off and she is not going to take it any more. Go to www.g-pop.net/comicconundrum.htm for her latest rant.
Speaking of comics. Hulk Smash!!!! I love the new game of Hulk, which I find to be a cross between GTA and Spider Man, but Ismael Manzano may actually surprise you with his thoughts on the game, which I enjoyed for the X-Box and he played for the Playstation 2. See what he has to say at www.g-pop.net/IncredibleHulk.htm
Speaking of Hulk Smash, well...actually, there is nothing to link the two, but the Hulk is ugly and so is the lead in Sex and the City, but that doesn't mean people don't like them. Check out Justine Manzano's review of the Sex and the City; the book. Go to www.g-pop.net/satc.htm
Korean Movies may be the next big thing since Japanese movies or Chinese movies or movies from India. You get my point. Well, the latest movie to come from Korea has to do with the reunification of the country and the people who will stop at nothing to make sure it happens. This is why we are G-Pop. Global Pop Culture at its finest. Take a trip to Korea with the film Shiri at www.g-pop.net/shiri.htm
The Rewinds are a great band that seem to be cut out for doing spots on the O.C. and Talon Karrde agrees. She takes an indepth look at the band that may be striking it big in the next big teen movie or series. It's their call to make, but Talon Karrde said it first. Go to www.g-pop.net/therewinds.htm
Finally, Jon Minners (that's me) takes a trip to Japan with a review of Spriggan, an anime that really tries to be good, but just fails miserably. Find out why when you read my review at www.g-pop.net/spriggan.htm
Well, tomorrow, I will be posting the great stories to grace our pages in Week 14. Be sure to check them out. Peace
