What Not To Wear. Doing Right Now: I just finished typing a review of a WLIW presentation entitled Visions of New York City. Wanting: To get all of my Christmas shopping done early - I'm well on my way to succeeding! Thankful For: Positive changes. Excited About: Thanksgiving is coming! And Christmas! YAY! Missing: Some spots I used to hang out at when I worked in Manhattan. Chatting With: Not a soul. Biggest Purchase of the Day: A toasted almond coffee at Dunkin Donuts. High Point of the Day: Getting so many things done in one day after waking up at a fairly decent time. I even got to write two reviews! Most Aggravating Moment of the Day: The damn telemarketers. How many times do I have to say no and why, when I say no, do you keep trying for a yes answer. Especially when I remind you that I asked not to be called again by this organization?!  Most Laughable Moment of the Day: Hanging up on the telemarketer in mid-sentence was fun! So was watching Natasia staring out the window at the birds. She was so excited! Saddest Moment of the Day: The fact that I had to open the windows thanks to my landlord's mom and her love of heat! Woman please! I think I may have lost 10lbs sweating my arse off!

I don't need that...I'm already certified. This, of course, is not an excuse for anyone to keel over, as I really would rather not use it! Wanting: More time....that's it...just more time... Thankful For: The people who understand just how little time I have. Excited About: Getting to see OldMaster (Walter!) for the first time in a very long time. It's been awhile! Missing: We miss you too Dad! But have no fear! Christmas is almost here! And it looks like Ish will make it this year. I think I just wrote a poem.... Chatting With: Nobody...I forgot how lonely and quiet it is up in reception... Biggest Purchase of the Day: A great big goose egg High Point of the Day: Knowing that I'm going to get the chance to see alot of good friends today. Most Aggravating Moment of the Day: Getting pulled into reception before my butt even hit my own chair. Most Laughable Moment of the Day: Seeing how confused my friend Rose was at the site of me in the front seat...and then seeing Rich (who doesn't usually start until 4) here already and thinking she walked into bizarro world! Saddest Moment of the Day: Realizing that I have two papers, a test and multiple homework assignments due next week...and realizing that I'm probably too tired to do them!

The last episode of Sliders: Season 3. Doing Right Now: Getting ready to type a few opening lines for a trade paperback review and then I will be off to watch Heroes (taped yesterday's episode). Wanting: More time...where the hell did all my time go?! Good thing I am great at the whole multi-task thing. Thankful For: Tae-Bo - what a fun workout! Excited About: Saturday! Missing: Some perks from working a different shift, but not complaining - this shift is much better for me. Chatting With: Nobody...not even myself.  Biggest Purchase of the Day: Does paying a toll count? High Point of the Day: Completing the Tae-Bo tape and still feeling like I was raring to go. Most Aggravating Moment of the Day: Dealing with a co-supervisor who has no tact when it comes to making schedules and dealing with people. Most Laughable Moment of the Day: Catching one of the contractor's asleep. Saddest Moment of the Day: Said supervisor screeching like a parrot on crack. Not cool!

Most Aggravating Moment of the Day:
This has been the most aggravating moment of my week--I'm fighting with my "work husband", my good buddy and right hand man at my job. It was his fault.
Most Laughable Moment of the Day: My boss talking about his clock falling off of the wall and hitting him in the head, and me saying, "Want to see time fly?" DRUMROLL PLEASE!
Saddest Moment of the Day: My main computer is dying...it's time for something new, methinks...but it's not going to be good on my wallet (or should I say credit cards...the wallet is already empty!) I wouldn't buy one, but I really need one for school!

Watching a co-supervisor walk in later than the workers I just admonished for showing up to work late.
Most Laughable Moment of the Day: There were quite a few ironic moments this morning - I suppose you could say they were laughable.
Saddest Moment of the Day: Actually, most of the day was rather a sad moment.

Being asked to cover for Office Services, a department I never officially worked in...it's because I have such a light work load...they think they can use me for anything. Hence me leaving before they finish merging and "let me go..."
Most Laughable Moment of the Day: Just general fun I'm having being sneaky...and no, I don't care that people from my job could probably find this...
Saddest Moment of the Day: My favorite people at this job are going to be missed when I bounce but, ah well...I'm living for me at this moment in time.

Most Aggravating Moment of the Day: Some nonsense I heard about issues with a co-worker. Most Laughable Moment of the Day: Me and a co-worker spontaneously bursting out in song in the locker room (Irreplaceable by Beyonce). We just started singing the same song at once out of the blue...you had to be there. Saddest Moment of the Day: The fact that I knew where everyone I was supervising was without even having to look. Too predictable!

Most Aggravating Moment of the Day: When the Caravan started careening all over the road because the driver thought they could just plow through snow and ice as if it was just some minor rain. Moron! Thank goodness I'm a good driver and was able to avoid the disasterous behemouth!  Most Laughable Moment of the Day: Someone telling me that I was going to be mandated today. Nice try, buddy, but I worked the last heavy snow storm and a late night case recently. No mandation for me - I'm at the very bottom of the list! ;D Saddest Moment of the Day: Thinking about the overtime that I turned down twice today...then I thought about the ride home and the beautifully pristine parking spot waiting for me around the corner from my house and I got over it! ;D

Bones last night! They advertised it in a very tricky way. I was a little pissed, but it was still an awesome episode! Doing Right Now: Waiting for my replacement, who I am training, to need my help. Wanting: A cup of hot cocoa...but wait, that is something I can get right now! Thankful For: My funny valentine. Excited About: Friday! My last day with my firm... (See, I said last post I was in the market...it didn't take me long...when I'm serious, I'm serious!) Missing: The people I'm not going to see every day once I leave this place. It's going to be bittersweet, leaving here on Friday. Chatting With: My replacement, on and off. Biggest Purchase of the Day: Nada, yet. High Point of the Day: Hearing about tomorrow's going away party and the cake I'm getting. YUM! Most Aggravating Moment of the Day: Waiting for my replacement to show up...an hour and a half late! I was supposed to be lazy today! Most Laughable Moment of the Day: My inability to take my paycheck out of the mail clerks hands. It had to have hit the floor three times. For whatever reason, I couldn't grab it. He implied that of course, I didn't need the money and was welcome to give it to him Saddest Moment of the Day: Realizing that I only have two days left with my really good friends here. It's one thing to do the count down when people are pissing you off, but the ones you love, it's hard to leave.
