Iconic singer Lou Rawls passed away on Friday, January 6, 2005 at the age of 72. The R&B singer had been suffering from both lung and brain cancer. Rawls' career spanned decades. He was trained in gospel, but soon found his niche in the world of R&B. His smooth, silky vocals launched several hits including "You'll Never Find Another Love Like Mine", "Lady Love", and more.
