Anyone see this movie yet?
I liked it, but I don't think I really loved Christian Bale as Batman. He had this strange way of playing him as though Batman was a caricature-he got this ridiculously deep and scratchy voice everytime he talked as Batman. Just a tad cheesy.
Although the set-up for the sequel was awesome!
What did you guys think of it?

Not much of a movie-goer but I'll probably catch it on DVD or HBO The making of Batman..... Should be an interesting story.

Batman was an awesome movie. I loved it. The action was intense to the point where you got an adrenaline rush. I also did not like the way Bale spoke as Batman. It was weird, especially when he told Gordon, he would never have to thank him. Just a bit overdramatic. I hated Katie Holmes. As soon as she knew it was Bruce, I was hoping they would find a way to kill her. What is with movies and revealing secrets to people right away. Like three people know Bruce Wayne is Batman now. That melodramatic nonsense at the end of the film was cheesy, but the setup for the sequel was great. In fact, the set up for all the villians was great. Well done film. Looking forward to part two.

I always felt as though when he spoke, Bruce Wayne was the fake personality and Batman was who he really was---that was the way Michael Keaton (my FAVORITE BATMAN) played it, and that was the way Kevin Conroy (the voice of Batman in every recent cartoon series he's been in) played it. It always felt truer that way... ...the more I think about it, the more fun I have trying to diagnose all the mental problems Bruce Wayne has! LOL
