I just finished watching the first show of the second season of the Ultimate Fighter series. I am totally hooked on this series which airs on SPIKE TV Mondays at 11pm EST. I was wondering if there's anybody else out there who is following the UFC and/or the Ultimate Fighter series.

I watched it as well and it already looks like they've found another Diego. LOL Now if he fights the same way....

Yup, Luke is just like Diego. Also have another Koscheck character in the annoying "I can take anyone on. I've broken my hand two times" dude. I like Jorge - love his no-quitters attitude. That's the way it should be! Is it me or do they have a lot of whiney little this season?

I didn't like the first show of the season. I think a lot of fans tuned out from it too. it onyl did a 1.7 in the rating, which was lower than expected after how good last season did. I am not sure if it was because there were no fights yet or if it was because the characters do not seem as interesting this time around or not, but last year, I remembered names right after the first show and this year, I don't remember anyone. I was also into the show a lot last year when the first few weeks didn't even have fights at all. And this year, three people already are out, which is kind of like how Tough Enough started awhile back. Anyways, I think the Spanish guy is kind of cool and the black guy who was talking mad trash seems like an interesting character. Once the fights start, I will probably get into it more.

This is the second week of Ultimate Fighter 2 and I'm glad to see that we are through with the punking out. That was one helluva great match tonight!
I loved the part when Marcus walked into Dana's office and told him he wanted to quit. I just knew it had to be a practical joke and it worked beautifully! I actually found myself rooting for the ego-junkie as he seemed to show that he had some of the skills that he'd been bragging about since day one.
I'd say that this episode caught my attention. Good to see an end to all the bellyaching that went on in the first episode!

Is it me or does this season of The Ultimate Fighter suck? Not only are the fighters whiny crybabies, but the team strategies are horrible. Like Matt messing with Jorge to throw him off his game. I thought coaches were there to coach, not get into pissing matches with the other team's members. The strategy of picking the toughest one on the team to go after is also quite stupid. When all the tough guys wipe each other out, it will be the weakest fighters left and those will be the ones competing for the contract that the decent fighters should have gotten. Ridiculous!

I don't really like the characters on the show. There is no breakout star yet, but the first one is always the best. I think we are dealing with the fact that we have welterweights and heavyweights and they are not as exciting as the smaller guys are. Even the matches are kind of lame. The first match was good and after that, every match has been kind of weak in comparison because people seem scared to lock up. Even the coaches are sort of lame compared to the larger than life coaches we had last season. I will continue to watch the show, but I hope they get things going soon.

Another crappy show. Is it me or is Matt Hughes a bitch? All that sniping at the other team. I was happy at the outcome of the match tonight, but disappointed at the performance. Rashad was, by far, the better fighter, but I could have done without all the taunting and would have been happier seeing more fighting. However, Matt Hardy's comments in the preview for the next episode are uncalled for. He's a braggart and yet he doesn't like showboating? Go figure.

Unfucking believable!!! First, let me say that this show sported the best match of the season. Now let me go buck on these assholes! I used to have alot of respect for Matt Hughes, but this season of Ultimate Fighter is showing us the asshole side of Hughes that causes me to lose respect for the man. Bad enough that he's been talking shit against the contestants for the past couple of weeks, but this episode proved that Matt is a sore loser. He beat the shit out of his teammates simply because his team lost a match. He hardly showed any interest in training Jason for the fight, but now I'm certain he's gloating at the outcome and taking the credit for it. And this brings me to my other big bitch about the show. What the hell?! How did the judges not see Jason rake Jorge's eye twice in the match? The teams saw it. Fuck, Matt was probably telling Jason to do it! The coaches gave a warning for it. How do you reward cheating with a win? That was just fucked up. Jorge had this guy bleeding in four different places and the judges gave the match to Jason. Unbelievable! Don't get me wrong, Jason did one thing that most of the other fighters didn't - he listened to his corner and he fought his hardest. But Jorge deserved that match.

Oh wow! Rashad really stepped up to the plate tonight and gave a great fight. Mike was expected to win, but Rashad once again proved that he was the better fighter. And there is nothing that bitch Matt can say. Rashad brought it and Mike didn't - end of story!
And how about that coaching by Hughes. Whatever happened to positive reenforcement? He was so upset about possbly losing the match, he was insulting to the man he was supposed to be helping and quite literally threw temper tantrums. He actually looked like he was about to cry. What a jerk!

Wow! That had to be the most awesome match to date this season!! I can't believe it! It could have gone any way and then WHAM! Anybody else catch this week's semifinals match between Luke and Sam?
