Yes, it's that time of the year when football fans sit glued to the televison set, surrounded by barbecue, junk food and beer, and root for their favorite teams to crush the opposition. It's time for the Super Bowl!
My favorite team, the Raiders, were punted out of the running early on. My second favorite, the Giants...well, lets just say that Eli put on a less-than-stellar performance as a quarterback in a crucial game. Thus, I must choose another team to root for on Super Bowl Sunday.
That's an easy choice! The Steelers! When I was a kid, the Steelers werw a force to be reckoned with. I remember Franco Harris, Terry Bradshaw, Jack Ham and more. Back then, the Steelers were a hard-playing, hard-hitting tour-de-force. Watching this year's Steelers plow through their opposition is reminiscent of the Steelers teams of the past. I think they should have no trouble at the Super Bowl, walking right over the Seattle Seahawks into victory.
Any thoughts?

Yeah the Steelers won!! I loved how this team had to win out the remander of the season and then travel on the road for all of the playoff games and again win out. What made it special was that this was Jerome Bettis's last game and the guy really deserved a win and I am sooooo happy he finally got his ring.

That was an incredible game. Yes, the refs did screw up some calls, but the game was still exciting! I had been rooting for the Steelers from the start, but man, did they ever start off slow!
