Week Three is now up with brand new articles for everyone to enjoy. Here is what is on tap for you to all check out:
1. The Minners Commentary Corner is still up. This is your last chance to read about the people who have helped me make this website such a success. Jenny, Katrina, Denita and Lisa; you girls are the best. Lisa is my baby, so this goes out to her. Anyways, I also thank Michael Jackson, attack child molestors, stupid people who don't know how to address tragedies or the weather and I attack the pope. All in a day's fun. Check it out at www.g-pop.net/Minners42_New.htm
2. There is a new Badseed's Bottomline out. In this one, I discuss the latest draft picks and what trades I would have made to make both shows better. Go to www.g-pop.net/badseed324_draft.htm
3. Talon Karrde has an awesome book review of the Starscape Project from Padwolf Publishing. Let me plug this company. They were the first ones to give us books to review for our site. They believed in us before we even had a site up and I thank them. They have supported me since my days at www.ybfree.com. I look forward to reviewing more of their work in these pages. This looks like an interesting science fiction book. Go to www.g-pop.net/starscape.htm for more.
4. I met a man who had an ambitious plan. He had comp days coming to him and vacation days and he decided to take them even though his company tried to stop him. In his quest, he decided to film a documentary about his travels fromhis home at Hollywood Avenue to his destination point of Hollywood California and back again. He was fired from his job, got a new job, a new apartment and new ways to sustain himself and he discusses it with me in this great interview, which could be read at www.g-pop.net/Smooth_Stones.htm
5. Last week, we discussed the Buffy Boards. Not to be outdone, Angel was a hot show, too and actually getting better towards its final days. The bastards at the WB cancelled it for this great ski resort show and this blue screen comedy from Drew Carey. Oh wait, both those shows were cancelled too. Hmmm. I guess the WB sucks, but that wonderful show Charmed is still on. Yeah, ok. Anyways, Angel had a soundtrack and Justine Manzano reviews it at www.g-pop.net/angel_music.htm
6. What is the difference between an aspiring writer and the established writer. There is some controversy to be mined here and Ismael Manzano tackles the subject over at www.g-pop.net/establishedvsaspiring.htm
7. Love movie soundtracks. Who doesn't? I can't tell you the countless times I have had to review them and the countless times I will probably have to review them in the future, but why let CDs pile up when you could listen to them all over the web. Rowena Kemp looks at a website for the movie soundtrack buff in all of us. Go to www.g-pop.net/streaming.htm
8. Those who choose to ignore their history are doomed to repeat it. Well, now, if you need some brushing up on your history, there is a magazine that treats old news like it is new news, complete with quotes and such. This unique publication gets reviewed by Talon Karrde at www.g-pop.net/OldNews.htm
Well, that's all for now. Much more to come in only a few short days. See you soon. Peace
