Yo Yo Yo Yo!!! Jon Minerals has been a busy little beaver lately, so I am a week behind, but I make up with it in a double dose of hard hitting G-Pop Network News. If this was television, you would know that I am absolutely naked while writing this. Yes, I just sexually harrassed a million women and about six guys who liked hearing that news just a little too much. Well, on this week's edition of the G-Pop News Network, we have a list of great stories for you to read:
Jon Minners (that's me!!!) hits you with a Minners Commentary Corner that attacks race issues. Yes, like why do those drivers wear all those insignias on their outfits and why must jockeys be so short and...oh wait, I meant Black and White issues. Duh. Anyways, go to www.g-pop.net/Minners44_Race.htm
Speaking of race issues, race relations dominated the movie Crash, so by going to www.g-pop.net/Crash.htm, you get the opportunity to read the review of the two Crash soundtracks. Yep, not one, but two Crash Soundtracks. If you thought the movie was good, then you were one of the rare smart people who saw the film, so check out the soundtrack. It has music on it.
Did you know you are ugly? Damn, that must have hurt. How did it make you feel to have your looks ridiculed. Didn't it make you want to put on a funky costume, attack women with big boobs (I know I want to) and maybe cut out someone's brain and replace it with your own. Oh yeah, well, that's kind of weird and you may want to have that problem checked out, but it is actually the subject of two movies by Asia Pulp Cinema. Check out the review at www.g-pop.net/asiavanity.htm
Ismael Manzano has this review of an anime title that seems to remind me of Dragon Ball Z for some reason except with more realistic fights and less characters and less time taken in battles. "I will beat you" "No, I will beat you" "Oh yeah, well, maybe I will do this move followed by that move and then hit you really hard and beat you" "Oh, but what if I block that move and then hit you with this and that and then I get my friends to help me, because I am a little biotch and then barely beat you anyways" "What if I die and then come back in a movie that has nothing to do with the series?" Anyways, check out his review of Naruto at www.g-pop.net/naruto.htm
Nothing like a fun tale about human sacrifice and voodoo to get the blood boiling and the vomit spewing. I swear you have never seen nothing yet until you watch a man hack his testicle off in a manga. The War on Flesh reminds me of Priest, but with balls being cut off. Go to www.g-pop.net/flesh.htm
Angelina Jolie is a dirty hore, but would you kick her out of bed? Nope, but look at yourself. Do you really think you have a chance? No. And showering for once won't even help this time, although I recommend it. Why not try the next best thing and curl up with Angelina Jolie...I mean her book. Go check out the review by Talon Karrde of her story and how she traveled around in between destorying people's marriages. Go to www.g-pop.net/angelina_jolie.htm
Want to learn how to write Science Fiction and Fantasy? No!!! Well, you better change your *&!@#! mind, because my sister worked hard on this review of Orson Scott Card's book on how to write science fiction and fantasy. Justine Manzano knows how to write science fiction and fantasy. Do you? Well, read her review and find out how. Go to www.g-pop.net/osc_howto.htm
Want to find out who dies in Harry Potter's new book? Well, don't read our review. Some things are sacred, but Ismael Manzano bought the book, gave up sleeping and read the story from beginning to end in like one day to bring everyone this great review. Go to www.g-pop.net/hp_halfblood.htm
Also, original writing is now up at www.g-pop.net/original_writing.htm
That's all for this week's edition. See you in a few minutes with next week's edition. Peace
