Howdy Ho Neighbor Yo's. It's Jon Minners with another edition of the G-Pop Network. This week, we have an exciting list of stories for you.
First, I hit you off with one of the hottest columns on the Internet. Dating back a number of years, I have written a column attacking everything in society, but also letting you into my life and in this issue, we take a look at my high school graduation and what it meant to leave my school behind. It's a funny look at the women I left behind and the things they did to keep me there. Go to www.g-pop.net/Minners45_Goodbye.htm
Talon Karrde takes a look at the ultra depressing soundtrack to the ultra depressing movie Cinderella Man. Go to www.g-pop.net/cinderellaman.htm Come with tissues handy.
Back when I worked for www.ybfree.com, we had a hot article about a CD from a group called Boondock Saints. Now, Ismael Manzano reviews the movie that inspired it all. Check it out at www.g-pop.net/Boondocksaints.htm
You know what was a hot show? Firefly. Created by Joss Whedon, the man who gave us Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel, Firefly was never given a chance. People couldn't understand his vision until today when shows like Battlestar Gallactica, Lost and more seem to be dominating our airwaves. But now, people have a chance to rediscover what was taken away from us too soon. Serenity, the movie stemming from the Firefly series, is coming out next month, and before it hits the screens, you should check out the series, which was released on DVD. Justine Manzano reviews Firefly at www.g-pop.net/firefly.htm
Back at you, me, myself and I hit you with a review of one of the hottest animes never to be shown on US television. You have heard about it and now is your chance to read up on what makes Pat Labor one of the best mecha anime titles ever. Go to www.g-pop.net/patlabor.htm Have you loved your robot today.
Hi, I am a Leo and I am a bastard. HAHA. Sadly, it appears to be true. Talon Karrde takes a look at the strangely compelling book that may help you realize a lot about someone by their astrological sign. Go to www.g-pop.net/Bastard.htm
Like horror. So does Justine Manzano. She loves it a little too much. In fact, she sadly calls herself Justine H. Manzano and guess what the H stands for. Yep. Just a little bit obsessed huh. Well, it is a good thing, because for quality horror reading, Justine Manzano will give you what you want. Check out her review of the chilling tale The Boys are Back in Town at www.g-pop.net/Boysareback.htm
In the world of wrestling, Badseed is king and week 8 was no exception as Badseed's Bottomline took a look at the future of wrestling. Check it out at www.g-pop.net/Badseed329_Future.htm
And then there is a newcomer to the G-Pop world when it comes to wrestling. You have seen him on the message boards and he has been so on point with his comments, that he now writes reviews on some of the hottest wrestling titles casual wrestling fans may know nothing about. Up first, a look at the hot women of wrestling, the ones with more talent than Maria and a little more intelligence, too. Check out DrayvensCrow's article about Women's Extreme Wrestling at www.g-pop.net/WEW.htm
Well, that's all for this week. Check out week 9 in just a few seconds. Yeah, I am late again. My bad. But you got to love me. Peace
