HAROLD & KUMAR ESCAPE FROM GUANTANAMO BAY (May 12, 2008- Los Angeles, CA) Lakeshore Records will release the original score for Harold & Kumar Escape From Guantanamo Bay on May 6th via iTunes and in stores on May 13th. The score album contains original music composed by George S. Clinton. George S. Clinton began his career in Nashville as a songwriter, arranger and session player. He became a staff writer for Warner Bros. Music, writing songs recorded by a wide range of artists including Michael Jackson, Joe Cocker, and Smokey Robinson as well as continuing his session work. He also recorded four albums as an artist. His George Clinton Band attracted the attention of a producer who hired him to score his first film, Cheech and Chongs Still Smoking. Clinton honed his skills scoring "ninja" movies for Cannon Films, and TV movies and miniseries. The soulful, erotic jazz for Zalman King's Showtime anthology Red Shoe Diaries developed quite a following. His musical inventiveness and versatility in have allowed him to contribute scores to such diverse films as Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery and its blockbuster sequels, and the hit martial arts fantasy Mortal Kombat and its sequel. His credits include John Waters' A Dirty Shame, 3000 Miles to Graceland, The Astronaut's Wife, Wild Things, Big Mommas House 2, The Cleaner, The Santa Clause 2: The Mrs. Clause and The Santa Clause 3. Harold & Kumar Escape From Guantanamo Bay marks the triumphant return of these two hilarious, slacker anti-heroes. The movie stars John Cho (American Pie I & II, American Dreamz) as Harold and Kal Penn (Van Wilder 2: The Rise of Taj, Epic Movie) as Kumar, two stoners who cant seem to get a break. Their last adventure found them traveling across country to find a White Castle hamburger in order to satisfy a weed-induced case of the munchies. This time, the boys get themselves in trouble trying to sneak a bong on board a flight to Amsterdam. Now, being suspected of terrorism, they are forced to run from the law and try to find a way to prove their innocence. What follows is an irreverent and epic journey of deep thoughts, deeper inhaling and a wild trip around the world that is as un-PC as it gets. New Line Cinema presents Harold & Kumar Escape From Guantanamo Bay, currently in theaters. Harold & Kumar Escape From Guantanamo Bay original score on Lakeshore Records will be available on iTunes on May 6th and in stores on May 13, 2008. THE CHRONICLES OF NARNIA: PRINCE CASPIAN (April 29, 2008- Burbank, CA)- Walt Disney Records will release the original soundtrack for Walt Disney Pictures/Walden Medias The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian on May 13, 2008. The recording features score written by award-winning composer Harry Gregson-Williams and songs performed by Switchfoot (This Is Home), Regina Spektor (The Call), Oren Lavie (A Dance Round The Memory Tree), and Hanne Hukkelberg (Lucy). In 1950, the scholar, critic and writer C.S. Lewis published The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe, the first of his seven-volume series, The Chronicles of Narnia, and established a modern legend. Adults and children alike fell in love with his stirring, action-packed adventure that was set in the middle of World War II bombing raids yet transported readers into an alternate and far more enchanted universe of mythological creatures waging an epic battle between good and evil. Harry Gregson-Williams reunites with director Andrew Adamson for the 5th time after composing the scores for his Academy Award®-winning Shrek (co-composed with John Powell), the hit sequels Shrek 2 and Shrek the Third, and The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, for which he collected Golden Globe and Grammy nominations for his score. He is one of Hollywoods most sought after composers, working on a variety of high-profile projects, both animated and live-action. Over the last several years, Gregson-Williams has composed such notable scores for Shrek the Third,Gone Baby Gone, Chicken Run, Man on Fire, Flushed Away, Domino, Spy Game, Déjà vu, Phone Booth, Veronica Guerin, Smilla's Sense Of Snow, The Replacement Killers, Bridget Jones: The Age of Reason, Enemy of the State, Antz and Kingdom of Heaven, among others. The multi-platinum selling rock band Switchfoot has written and recorded the original song This Is Home, which is heard in the body of the film and over the end title credits. They shot a video for the song with director Brandon Dickerson, who filmed their most recent video for Awakening. We are so honored to be a part of the Prince Caspian film with This Is Home, says Switchfoot frontman Jon Foreman. The Narnia stories have a really special place in my brother Tim and my lives. Our dad used to read these to us at bedtime when we were boys. Our imaginations were shaped on these amazing novels. The characters of C.S. Lewis timeless fantasy come to life once again in this newest installment of the Chronicles of Narnia series, in which the Pevensie siblings are magically transported back from England to the world of Narnia, where a thrilling, perilous new adventure and an even greater test of their faith and courage awaits them. As [the films director] Andrew Adamson and I began early discussions about the musical possibilities for The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, composer Harry Gregson-Williams said, it became clear that the movie could take a score with plenty of edge and bite to it this time around, supporting the fast moving action and adventure that quickly unfolds. One year after the incredible events of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, the Kings and Queens of Narnia find themselves back in that faraway wondrous realm, only to discover that more than 1300 years have passed in Narnian time. During their absence, the Golden Age of Narnia has become extinct, Narnia has been conquered by the Telmarines and is now under the control of the evil King Miraz, who rules the land without mercy. The fast forward 1300 years in the future allowed Gregson-Williams to re-address themes from the first film as well as creating new ones. Director Andrew Adamson described, For Prince Caspian, Harry drew not only on the beloved themes of The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe, but also developed original, sympathetic themes for Caspian and the Telmarines. Harry has threaded these themes with the same beauty and originality as he has woven all the notes that form his wonderful scores. The four Pevensie children will soon meet an intriguing new character: Narnias rightful heir to the throne, the young Prince Caspian, who has been forced into hiding as his uncle Miraz plots to kill him in order to place his own newborn son on the throne. Gregson-Williams embraced the challenge of composing for these new characters. He described, The early introduction of a fearful Prince Caspian fleeing for his life from the dangerous Lord Miraz gave me a wonderful opportunity to introduce this new and somewhat darker musical landscape right from the opening. Also drawing inspiration from C.S. Lewis was Switchfoot. This Is Home was inspired by the book after re-reading it for the opportunity to write for the film, continues the bands frontman, Foreman. I am always taken by [C. S.] Lewis' ability to write about the bittersweet beauty in this world; this home we arent really made for but is the place we work out our humanity in the midst of our longing for our true home. Walt Disney Pictures and Walden Media present The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian in theaters on May 16, 2008. The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian Original Soundtrack will be in stores on May 13, 2008.

Their film credits include THE HILLS HAVE EYES, THE MOTHMAN PROPHECIES, THE RULES OF ATTRACTION and ARLINGTON ROAD. Lock the doors. Assume you're safe. THE PROMOTION (June 2, 2008- Los Angeles, CA) Lakeshore Records will release the original soundtrack for The Promotion via iTunes on June 3 and in stores on June 10. Alex Wurman (March of the Penguins, Confessions of A Dangerous Mind) composed the music for the film, which premiered at the South by Southwest Film Festival in Austin, TX. His father, Hans Wurman, is an arranger and composer who was a pioneer in electronic music recording on the first Moog synthesizer. He also recorded radio plays featuring well known actors. Alexs exposure to the business, both through his father and other generations of his family who studied and performed music, led him to attend the Academy of Performing Arts High School in Chicago, later studying composition at the University of Miami in Coral Gables and also the American Conservatory of Music in Chicago. Alex Wurmans critically acclaimed score for the Academy Award winning documentary March of the Penguins was integral to the films commercial success. His next film was for the blockbuster Talladega Nights: The Legend of Ricky Bobby. Equally adept at scoring for comedy as for drama, Wurmans credits also include Confessions of A Dangerous Mind, Thirteen Conversations About One Thing, Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy and the recent film Run, Fat Boy, Run The Promotion stars Oscar-nominated actor, John C. Reilly (Chicago, Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby) and Seann William Scott (American Pie) who lend their deft comedic touch to the story of two mid-level Chicago supermarket employees Doug and Richard, a dubious new guy from Canada - who compete ruthlessly for a coveted managerial post at a new store location. WALLE (June 2008 -- Burbank, CA)- Walt Disney Records will release the original soundtrack for Walt Disney Pictures/Pixar Animation Studios WALLE on June 24, 2008. The recording features score written by 8 time Academy Award®-nominated composer Thomas Newman (Finding Nemo, American Beauty) and the original song Down to Earth written and performed by Peter Gabriel (with music by Peter Gabriel and Thomas Newman). The soundtrack also includes two songs from Hello Dolly performed by Michael Crawford (It Only Takes A Moment and Put On Your Sunday Clothes) and Louis Armstrongs La Vie En Rose. Academy Award®-winning writer-director Andrew Stanton (Finding Nemo, A Bugs Life) didnt wait long to ask Finding Nemo collaborator Thomas Newman to compose the music for WALLE. Stanton described, The night of the Oscars in 2004 for Nemo, we went out for a celebratory toast at the bar in the middle of the ceremony, and right there I remember saying, Okay, Ive got this idea, and it involves Hello Dolly and science fiction. Wondering if he would still talk to me after that
The Hello Dolly reference didnt scare off Newman his uncle Lionel was the conductor for the 1969 film. Thomas Newman is member of the film-scoring Newman dynasty (his father and uncle are the legendary composer and conductor Alfred and Lionel Newman respectively, his brother is composer David Newman and cousin is composer/singer/songwriter/recording artist Randy Newman). After studying at Yale University, Thomas Newman joined the family business and began scoring for film in 1984. It was ten years later that he would became a double Academy Award®-nominee with Little Women and The Shawshank Redemption. He has since received 8 nominations for the films American Beauty, Road To Perdition, Finding Nemo, Lemony Snickets A Series of Unfortunate Events, and The Good German. He also composed the theme music for the television shows Boston Public and Six Feet Under and the miniseries Angels in America. Though he has written music for a wide range of films Thomas Newman has never composed for a science fiction film. He brought his own unique style to WALLE. Stanton describes, Hes got a very unique style that often involves a lot of overdubs and mixing after hes recorded the orchestra. And it just allows this fresh palette of sounds to come in. Hes really nailed an identity for not only the movie but for the characters and for the moments, Stanton continues, and I cant imagine it any other way. Legendary artist Peter Gabriel had first contacted Andrew Stanton through a mutual friend, Gabriels bass player Tony Levin. Gabriel emailed Stanton seeking advice on a different animated feature. The email exchanged ended with Gabriel adding a post script offering If you ever need a song in one of your movies, just let me know. Stanton called in the marker, and Gabriel to collaborate with Newman on the song Down To You, which Peter performs. In addition, Gabriel co-composed two additional score cues with Newman. What if mankind had to leave Earth, and somebody forgot to turn the last robot off? After hundreds of lonely years of doing what he was built for, WALLE (short for Waste Allocation Load Lifter Earth-Class) discovers a new purpose in life (besides collecting knick-knacks) when he meets a sleek search robot named EVE. EVE comes to realize that WALLE has inadvertently stumbled upon the key to the planets future, and races back to space to report her findings to the humans (who have been eagerly awaiting word that it is safe to return home). Meanwhile, WALLE chases EVE across the galaxy and sets into motion one of the most exciting and imaginative comedy adventures ever brought to the big screen. Walt Disney Pictures and Pixar Animation Studios present WALLE in theaters on June 27, 2008. The WALLE Original Soundtrack will be in stores on June 24, 2008.

THE DARK KNIGHT ORIGINAL MOTION PICTURE SOUNDTRACK (May 29, 2008 Burbank, CA) The Dark Knight Original Motion Picture Soundtrack the haunting score to the hotly anticipated feature film The Dark Knight will be released by Warner Bros. Records on July 15, 2008, three days before the movie opens nationwide on July 18th. Composers Hans Zimmer and James Newton Howard, who collaborated on the score for the 2005 blockbuster Batman Begins, were asked by director Christopher Nolan to work together again, scoring its follow-up, The Dark Knight. The duo recorded the orchestral soundtrack for the film in London this April. Zimmer and Howard are among the film industrys most respected and sought-after composers. Each has a career encompassing well over 100 film and television scores. Zimmer won an Academy Award for his score for The Lion King, and has earned six additional Oscar nominations for his work on Gladiator, The Thin Red Line, Rain Man, As Good as It Gets, The Preachers Wife and The Prince of Egypt. He includes among his more recent film credits Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End, The Simpsons Movie, and the Spanish-language Casi Divas. Howard has been honored with seven Academy Award nominations, including Best Original Score nods for the films The Prince of Tides, The Fugitive, My Best Friends Wedding, The Village and, most recently, Michael Clayton. Howards other film credits include I Am Legend, Charlie Wilsons War, King Kong, Collateral and The Sixth Sense. Warner Bros. Records will release four different configurations of The Dark Knight soundtrack: a standard jewel case CD, a 2 LP set of heavy-weight 180 gram vinyl version, a special edition digipack, and a collectors edition with special artwork to come after release. The follow-up to the action hit Batman Begins, The Dark Knight reunites director Christopher Nolan and star Christian Bale, who reprises the role of Batman/Bruce Wayne in his continuing war on crime. With the help of Lieutenant Jim Gordon and District Attorney Harvey Dent, Batman sets out to destroy organized crime in Gotham for good. The triumvirate proves to be effective, but they soon find themselves prey to a rising criminal mastermind known as the Joker, who thrusts Gotham into anarchy and forces the Dark Knight ever closer to crossing the fine line between hero and vigilante. The film also stars Michael Caine as Alfred; Heath Ledger as arch-villain The Joker; Gary Oldman as Lieutenant Jim Gordon; Aaron Eckhart as District Attorney Harvey Dent; Maggie Gyllenhaal as Rachel Dawes; and Morgan Freeman as Lucius Fox. Warner Bros. Pictures presents, in association with Legendary Pictures, a Syncopy Production, a Christopher Nolan film, The Dark Knight. Nolan directed the film from a screenplay written by Jonathan Nolan and Christopher Nolan, story by Christopher Nolan & David S. Goyer. Charles Roven, Emma Thomas and Christopher Nolan are the producers, with Kevin De La Noy, Benjamin Melniker and Michael Uslan serving as executive producers. The Dark Knight is based upon characters appearing in comic books published by DC Comics. Batman was created by Bob Kane. The Dark Knight will be distributed worldwide by Warner Bros. CHAOS THEORY SOUNDTRACK Soundtrack Features Songs by The Damnwells, The Boy Lease Likely To, Walking Concert, and Gingersol With Original Music By Composer Gilad Benamram (July 8, 2008- Los Angeles, CA) Lakeshore Records will release the original soundtrack for CHAOS THEORY via iTunes on July 15. CHAOS THEORY was released in theaters in March and on DVD June 17. The soundtrack contains music composed by Gilad Benamram (Pretty Persuasion), four songs by The Damnwells, with additional songs by The Boy Least Likely To, Walking Concert, and Gingersol. Frank Allen (Ryan Reynolds), celebrated author of the bestseller The Five Minute Efficiency Trainer, has perfected the art of living via a foolproof system of timetables and index cards. But life, as he soon learns, never adheres to a strict schedule. Franks wife, Susan (Emily Mortimer), and seven-year-old daughter, Jesse (Matreya Fedor), find his obsession charming in small doses, but as a steady diet it can be very frustrating. One morning, Susan attempts to loosen her husbands scheduling stranglehold by adding ten minutes to his day. But, by setting the clock backward instead of forward, she inadvertently unleashes a series of mishaps that turn his meticulously ordered life upside down. The films director, Marcos Siega, began his career directing music videos before branching out into directing films like Underclassman and Pretty Persuasion. Music plays an integral part in his films. Siega turned to Israeli composer Gilad Benamram, with whom he worked on Pretty Persuasion for CHAOS THEORY. Benamrans credits include two films with director Airel Vromen (Simple Lies and Danika), the 2007 Japanese feature Ichijiku no kao (Faces of a Fig Tree) and the 2008 documentary Victory Over Darkness) In addition to the music composed by Benamram, the songs chosen for the film reflect the setting, as the film takes place in three different times frames when Frank, Susan and Buddy are in their early 20s in the early 80s, a few years later when Frank and Susan are married with a seven-year-old daughter, and in present day when the now-adult Jesse is getting married. Four songs featured in the film are from the indie rock band The Damnwells, who contribute two previously unreleased cuts Say and Tonight & Forever. Castle Rock Entertainment and Lone Star Film Group present CHAOS THEORY now available on DVD. CHAOS THEORY original soundtrack on Lakeshore Records will be available via iTunes on July 15, 2008.
